About the Edit PDF tool
'Editing a PDF' means two very different things, and being clear about which one you need saves a lot of time. Changing the words inside a paragraph means rebuilding the document, which is properly done by converting it to Word, editing there, and converting back. Changing the document's structure — the order of the pages, which way up they are, which ones should not be there at all — is a different job entirely, and it is the one people need far more often.
This editor does the structural work, visually. Your pages appear as thumbnails: click to rotate a sideways scan, click to remove the blank page the scanner added, drag to move a page that ended up in the wrong place. Add a watermark such as DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL, and add continuous page numbers to a document that was assembled from several sources. Everything is applied in a single pass when you are ready, so the file is only rewritten once and quality is untouched.

Questions
Edit PDF FAQ
Can I change the text inside a PDF here?
Not the words within a paragraph. This tool edits the document's structure — page order, rotation, removal, watermark and numbering. To rewrite the actual text, convert the file to Word, make your changes there, and convert it back to PDF.
How do I rotate one page without rotating the whole document?
Click the rotate control on that page's thumbnail. Each page is handled independently, so you can fix a single sideways scan and leave the rest.
How do I delete a page from a PDF?
Click the remove control on its thumbnail. The page is marked for removal and can be brought back with another click until you apply the changes.
Can I add page numbers across a merged document?
Yes. Turn on page numbers, choose a position and set the starting number. Numbers are applied to the final page order, after any reordering or deletions.
Is the watermark permanent?
It is drawn into the page content of the file you download, so it stays with the document. Your original upload is not changed.
Will editing reduce the quality?
No. Pages are copied rather than re-rendered, so text stays sharp and searchable.
