About the PDF to JPG tool
There are two entirely different things people mean by turning a PDF into a JPG, and picking the wrong one is the usual reason the result disappoints. Rendering each page as an image gives you a picture of the whole page — margins, text, everything — which is what you want for a preview, a thumbnail, a slide or anything you need to post where PDFs are not accepted. Extracting embedded images pulls out the original photographs that were placed into the document, at their original resolution and without the surrounding page.
This tool does both, so choose whichever matches your task. When rendering pages, resolution matters: 96 DPI is fine on screen, 150 DPI is a good default, and 300 DPI matches print quality but produces much larger files. Convert a multi-page PDF and the images arrive as a single ZIP, numbered in page order so nothing gets shuffled.

Questions
PDF to JPG FAQ
How do I convert every page of a PDF into a separate image?
Upload the PDF, leave the mode set to render every page, choose a resolution and convert. Each page becomes its own numbered JPG and the set is delivered as a ZIP file you can unzip anywhere.
What resolution should I choose?
For anything that will only be viewed on a screen, 96 DPI keeps files small. 150 DPI is the sensible default and looks sharp on most displays including phones. Choose 300 DPI only when the image is going to be printed or zoomed into, because file sizes roughly quadruple.
Can I get PNG instead of JPG?
This tool outputs JPEG, which is the right format for pages containing photographs and scanned material. If you need lossless output with transparency for a logo or diagram, convert to JPG here and then re-save as PNG, or keep the vector artwork in the original PDF.
Why does extracting images return nothing?
Because the document has no separate embedded JPEG photographs. Pages made in a word processor are text and vector drawing, and some scans store their pages in other formats. Switch to rendering pages and you will get an image of each page instead.
Will the images be watermarked?
No. The JPGs you download are clean, with nothing added to them, and they are created on your device rather than on a server.
