Terms of use
Last updated: 2026. By using QuirePDF you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the site.
The service
QuirePDF provides free online tools for converting and modifying PDF and related document formats. The service is offered as it is, without a guarantee of availability, and may change or be withdrawn at any time.
Your responsibilities
You agree that you will not use this site to:
- Process files you have no legal right to use, modify or distribute
- Circumvent copyright protection, licensing or digital rights management on material that is not yours
- Process content that is unlawful, harassing or infringing
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service, or to disrupt it
- Run automated or high-volume requests that degrade the service for other people
You are responsible for the files you process and for having the right to process them.
No warranty
The tools are provided without warranty of any kind. Conversion between document formats is inherently approximate, and results vary with how a file was produced. Always check output before relying on it, and always keep your original.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuirePDF is not liable for any loss of data, loss of profit, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Intellectual property
You keep all rights in the files you process. They stay on your device and we claim no ownership over them. The site's own design, code, branding and written content remain ours.
Third-party names
Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. PDF and Acrobat are trademarks of Adobe Inc. These names are used only to describe file formats and compatibility. QuirePDF is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Microsoft or Adobe.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
